Advocacy and Support Groups

Some adults wish to participate in support or advocacy groups. Among

others, patients and families can be referred to two national organizations, g: Adul

Children and Adults With Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD) (www.

chadd.org) and the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) (www.

lannin

add.org). each sponsors annual national meetings as well as many local chapters and regional events. Group websites are excellent sources of current information.
